Language Master, Chennai 19 Years Boy Named Mahmood Akram can Read, Write and Type in 400 Languages and Speak 46 Languages Fluently

Nineteen-year-old Mahmood Akram from Chennai has achieved remarkable linguistic feats, mastering the ability to read, write, and type in 400 languages, and speaking 46 languages fluently. His journey began at the age of four, inspired by his father, Dr. Mozhippriyan, a linguist proficient in 16 languages. By eight, Akram set a world record as the youngest multilingual typist, and by twelve, he had demonstrated fluency in 400 languages, impressing German linguists and securing another world record.

Akram's passion for languages led him to teach others; at fourteen, he started conducting language workshops and sharing his expertise through YouTube, attracting a global audience. By 2024, he had conducted workshops in countries like Myanmar, Cambodia, Thailand, and Indonesia. Currently, he is pursuing multiple degrees: a BA in English Literature and a BSc in Animation at Chennai's Alagappa University, and studying linguistics at the UK's Open University.

His dedication to language learning and teaching continues to inspire many worldwide, showcasing the profound impact of passion and commitment in breaking educational barriers.

That sounds like an incredible feat! If Mahmood Akram from Chennai truly possesses the ability to read, write, and type in 400 languages while speaking 46 fluently, he would be one of the most extraordinary polyglots in history.

There have been notable hyperpolyglots (people who master many languages), such as Ziad Fazah and Cardinal Mezzofanti, but achieving fluency in 46 languages is extremely rare. Do you have a source or any official confirmation of his accomplishments? I'd love to learn more about his journey and how he managed to achieve this level of linguistic mastery! 😊

5 Copper Coins Worth a Lot of Money

Some copper coins are highly valuable due to their rarity, historical significance, or minting errors. Here are five copper coins that can be worth a lot of money:

1. 1943 Copper Penny

  • Value: Up to $1.7 million
  • Why? Most pennies from 1943 were made of steel due to wartime metal shortages, but a few were mistakenly struck in copper. These rare copper pennies are among the most valuable coins in U.S. history.

2. 1793 Chain Cent

  • Value: $100,000 – $500,000+
  • Why? The first official U.S. cent ever minted, featuring a chain design on the reverse. Its historical importance makes it extremely valuable to collectors.

3. 1856 Flying Eagle Cent

  • Value: $10,000 – $200,000
  • Why? A pattern coin meant to test a smaller cent size before it was officially adopted in 1857. Only about 2,000 were made, making them rare and valuable.

4. 1877 Indian Head Cent

  • Value: $3,000 – $50,000
  • Why? The 1877 Indian Head penny had a low mintage, and few have survived in good condition. It’s one of the rarest and most sought-after Indian Head cents.

5. 1909-S VDB Lincoln Cent

  • Value: $600 – $100,000
  • Why? This was the first year of the Lincoln penny, and coins minted in San Francisco with designer Victor David Brenner’s initials (“VDB”) on the reverse are highly collectible.

If you have an old copper coin, it might be worth checking with a numismatic expert to see if you have something valuable!
